It's difficult to tell if a carpet is dirty just by looking at
it. Carpets are natural filters that attract dirt and dust
that you can't see. And it's the dirt that you can't see that
will really shorten the life of your carpet. That's why it's
important to clean on a regular schedule - not just when it looks
dirty. Daily vacuuming and spot cleaning is the most effective
way of keeping soils out of the carpet.

PROCEDURES : |

1. |
Before using the vacuum, check the bag and
replace it, if necessary. |
|
|
2. |
Vacuum the carpet thoroughly. Multiple
passes over each area will pick up as much dirt as possible. Note
spots that need to be taken care of as you vacuum, because once you're
done vacuuming, it's time to spot clean. |
|
|
3. |
It's important to remove spots in
carpet as soon as possible, before they become difficult to remove
stains. |
|
|
4. |
Apply Buckeye's Gone Carpet Spot
Cleaner directly to the spot. Allow Gone to dwell for 5
minutes. Then brush the affected area with a carpet brush, always
working inward to contain the spot. Finally, blot the area with a
clean white cloth. A white cloth prevents dye from transferring
from the cloth to the carpet, which could happen with a colored
cloth. Repeat the process if necessary. |
