EXTRACTION CLEANING

Extraction cleaning is a deep cleaning with Jet Stream and hot water that pulls the deep down, embedded dirt out of the carpet.

PROCEDURES :


1.	Prepare the area to be cleaned, by removing all furniture if possible and vacuuming. If furniture cannot be removed, place wax paper or plastic film under and around legs to prevent staining.

2.	Fill the extractor tank with Buckeye's Jet Stream Extraction Cleaner diluted at 3 ounces per gallon of hot water.

3.	Extract the carpet using overlapping passes. Jet Stream itself will not foam in the recovery tank but sometimes existing residues in the carpet create foam. If foaming is a problem, add 1 ounce of Defoam, concentrated Defoamer, to the recovery tank.

4.	Once the entire carpet has been extracted. Use fans to speed drying if they are available. While the carpet is drying, clean and return your equipment to storage.

5.	Once it's dry, vacuum the carpet to restore the pile to its natural condition.
