The first attempt to remove hard
water spots from the outside panes of windows is to try Buckeye Star
Spray. If the Star Spray is not effective on white, hard water-like
deposits, it may be possible to remove these spots with concentrated Buckeye
Gel Scrub. The recommended method would be to spray Gel Scrub directly
onto the window and allow a dwell time of one to two minutes, agitate and
remove the cleaner with a damp cloth or mild pad, then rinse and dry.
Care should be taken to limit contact Gel Scrub to the window, especially
avoiding aluminum, natural stone, mortar, and soil/shrubbery.
If Gel Scrub fails to remove the
deposits then the glass has been etch and cannot be repaired using normal
janitorial type products. You may want to contact a glazer for further
assistance.¡@
