BUCKEYE SANICARE LEMON QUAT

This Research Fact Sheet certifies that Buckeye Sanicare Lemon Quat is formulated consistent with USDA Guidelines for Obtaining Authorization of Compounds to be Used in Meat  and Poultry Plants.  As such Buckeye Sanicare Lemon Quat is considered suitable for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants if used in a manner consistent with the label directions.  A copy of the product label is attached for your reference.  Used in this manner, Buckeye Sanicare Lemon Quat will not adulterate food product or create unsanitary conditions.

Buckeye Sanicare Lemon Quat is intended for use as a general cleaner for use on all surfaces in inedible product processing areas, non-processing areas, and/or exterior areas.

Before the USDA discontinued its product authorization program, Buckeye Sanicare Lemon Quat was listed by USDA, as a C1 Compound for use on all surfaces in inedible product processing areas, non-processing areas, and/or exterior areas.

These compounds must be used in a manner, which prevents penetration of any characteristic odor or fragrance into edible product areas.

Permission for the use of these compounds on loading docks and other similar areas is left to the discretion of the Inspectors in Charge of the plants.
